Curriculum

Recent research has found that, from birth, children are experts in their own lives. They are skilful communicators born with a powerful motivation and ability to learn. Children demonstrate innate competence, capability and resourcedfulness. The curriculum at our centres emerges from a thorough knowledge of the children in our care. Our carers respond to your child's interests and their curiosity. Our environments are aesthetic, flexible and enable collaboration and negotiation. We provide enriched language learning environments where children can experience another culture through music, arts, language and exploration. Our digital portfolio style reflects the Early Learning Framework and provides documentation to provide children with a visible memory, facilitate insight into the children's learning and provide parents and the community with detailed information about what happens in the centre. This format enables us to include anecdotal observations, stories and conversation transcripts, slide show, and photographs of your child's experience.

Reflection and evaluation are an important part of our curriculum framework and provide the impetus for change and innovation.
